OUR PLEDGE

We commit to provide clean water and sanitation to the communities in which we work.

One in three people in Malawi do not have access to clean water. This is why the Malawi Government has made clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene a priority since the early 2000’s.  Over 14 million people in Malawi live without a toilet.

We are locating clean water sources to provide water wells, drainage and sewage treatment systems for local communities. We will reach every person in the communities we operate with clean water, toilet and hygiene. We know that doing so will have a lasting impact, helping poor and marginalised communities to overcome poverty for good.

Decent Work and Economic Growth

OUR PLEDGE

We hope to provide a nascent in Industry in Malawi, creating wealth and jobs

Malawi is a pro-mining country. As it diversifies from Agriculture, its looking to its other natural resource for income – and we are proud to be leading the charge in investigating vital minerals and metals in the region. All of our work is carried out in a mindful way, that’s respectful to the surrounding people and the land.

OUR PLEDGE

We commit to minimising our operational impacts whilst preserving, protecting and restoring the environment that we affect.

While we need to drill holes in the ground to explore minerals for a greener future, we will also invest in a renaturation programme and we do not use chemicals in our exploration projects. We will also minimise any impact to the land and its biodiversity, by carrying out extensive aero-magnetic surveys before we go underground. We are in touch with the forestry and environmental department and all surrounding communities.
